Position Descriptions for Executive Offices
Click below to see By-Law 11: Duties of the Executive.
All positions within the local are volunteer and executive positions require attendance at meetings, conferences, and trainings that occur outside of work hours. You can expect to use 5-10 hours per week of your personal time depending on your position, time of year, and what events, grievances, conferences, etc. are occurring. These time commitments do not include regular steward duties (grievance meetings, research, presentations) which also frequently apply to executive members.
You are welcome to contact any member of the current executive for information about their role or any other questions you might have about getting involved with the local as a steward or an elected executive member.
