Local 00014 Member Appreciation Cook-Out

UTE Local 00014 invites all members and their families to our 2024 Membership Appreciation event.

June 9th 2024 from 12-3pm at the Willow Cove Pavillion, Confederation Park, Hamilton.

Good to know:

  • there is no entrance fee for Confederation Park, and parking is free
  • we’ve rented the Willow Cove Pavilion and will be gathering rain or shine!
  • vegan and Halal options will be available
  • our site has volleyball nets – if you want to get a game going, make sure to bring a ball!
  • there are picnic tables in the Pavillion, and you’re also welcome to bring your lawnchairs or blankets
  • there will be facepainting and all sorts of fun and games for everyone
  • there are single-occupant/ungendered/accessible* washrooms adjacent to the Pavillion and available exclusively to us as part of the site rental. (*HCA confirms that washrooms are AODA compliant, but the doors are manual, not powered. The closest washroom facilities with power doors are in the big, yellow building to the east of Willow Cove, at the beach area. Those are gendered washrooms with a powered door and an accessible stall in each.)
  • you’re welcome to visit Adventure Village and other park attractions before or after the event (note: access fees may apply)
  • HCA has rules about dogs on site, which you can review here. Please be mindful of your dog’s temperment and well-being, and the comfort of other attendees when deciding whether to bring your 4-leggers along.
